Justine Barnett

Justine Barnett, age 74, of Bourbon, passed away on Monday, March 9, 2026 in Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on April 27, 1951, in Hazard, Kentucky to Elma (Hale) Brewer.

Justine served her country honorably in the U.S. Air Force, a period of her life that she held with great pride. After her military service, she dedicated herself to her family, which was her greatest joy and passion.

She is survived by her son, David Berry of Bourbon, and her daughter, Kelli (Shawn) Pepple of Lacrosse. Justine delighted in the company of her grandson, Andrew Berry, as well as her great-granddaughter, Jaylen Berry, who all brought her immense joy and fulfillment in her later years. Justine cherished her siblings, including brothers Lloyd Brewer, John Brewer, and Chris Brewer, who shared in her life's journey. Justine was preceded in death by her mother, Elma Brewer.

In addition to her family, Justine had a deep appreciation for her leisure time, often found watching her beloved TV shows such as "Little House on the Prairie" and "Days of our Lives." Her humor and kindness touched the lives of those around her, fostering connections that will be sorely missed.
