Julia A. Orenchick

Julia A. Orenchick passed away on May 5th, 2023, at Orchard Pointe in Kendallville. She was surrounded by her family during her last moments. She was born on November 5th, 1946, in Goshen, the daughter of William and Irma Wiggs. She attended Syracuse High School and graduated in 1966. In October of 2000, Julia married Dennis Orenchick. The two shared eleven years together before his passing in 2011.

Julia enjoyed her career at various establishments including the Holiday Rambler in Wakarusa and Hunter’s Bar and Grill in Nappanee. She later worked for Embassy Suites in Indianapolis.

Julia had a feisty and strong-willed personality which was admired by those who knew her. She loved spending time playing cards with friends as well as bowling- a pastime that she excelled at. Her love for dogs was also well-known.

Julia will be dearly missed by all those who knew her. She is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Kirk) Robison; son, David Livengood; grandchildren, Trenton (Atlanta) Robison and Kelsie (Robby) Gingerich; great-grandchildren, Greylynn and Emmalynn; sister, Penny (Ken) Plikerd; brother, Gary (Shelly) Wiggs, along with numerous extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents William and Irma Wiggs, and husband Dennis M. Orenchick.
