Tippecanoe Lake

Listen to Obituary

Judith Hayden, affectionately known as Judy, passed away peacefully at her cherished Tippecanoe Lake home in Leesburg on Sunday, August 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was 81.

Born November 24, 1943, in Logansport, Indiana, to Everett and Margie (Tomlinson) Clark, Judy lived a life rooted in love, family, friendship, and devotion. After earning her master’s degree in education from Ball State University, she spent five years as a schoolteacher before devoting herself fully to her home and loved ones.

Judy was known for her honesty, strong convictions, and tender heart. She was the cornerstone of her family and a loyal friend to many. On March 6, 1965, she married the love of her life, Larry Hayden. Together they built a marriage defined by partnership, devotion, and 60 years of unwavering support.

Family was always Judy’s greatest joy. She was a proud mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who delighted in time spent with her children, Mindy (Kevin) Holder and Eric (Laura) Hayden; grandchildren, Elizabeth Mauk, Aaron Holder, Ashley Holder, Victoria Hayden, and Alexandra Hayden; and great-grandchildren, Adilyn, Oliver, and Everett. Her home was a gathering place where both family and friends felt welcome and laughter was always abundant.

Judy also found peace at the lake, where she enjoyed tending her flower gardens and watching the birds that visited her yard. She loved the outdoors and found joy in the beauty of nature.

She is survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many dear friends who will carry forward her legacy of strength, love, and honesty.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services of North Webster is entrusted with Judy’s care. The family will celebrate her life at a later date. To share condolences, please visit www.TitusFuneralHome.com.
