J. Jane Wilson, age 76, passed away quietly on Friday, March 26, 2021 at Mason Health and Rehabilitation Center, Warsaw.
Born Juanita Jane Wilson on February 6, 1945 in Winamac, she was the daughter of John Joseph and Doris Marie (Bryant) Vigus. Jane, as most knew her, was a graduate of Kewanna High School and went on to attend St. Elizabeth’s Nursing School.
Jane loved God and people; with an artist’s heart, she delighted in His creation. Whether she was helping friends with chores or yardwork or lifting someone’s spirits with joyful laughter, she gave without reservation from a heart of love. She was gifted in photography, painting, music, calligraphy and humor. She especially loved babies and children. She will be held in the hearts of all who knew her as a blessing. Her infinite and unconditional love honored her children and grandchildren with a beautiful legacy.
Surviving with treasured memories are two children: son, Jonathan Wilson of South Bend and daughter, Carri Wilson of Oswego; four grandchildren: Cainan, Calli and Carlin Wilson of Oswego and Christian Purich of Chicago; sister, Jackie (Steve) Brown of Frankfort, IN and brother, John (Tracy) Vigus of Lafayette. She was preceded in passing by her parents.
Warsaw’s Titus Funeral Home is assisting the family with private services.
