Joy Renier

Joy A. Renier, age 91, of Warsaw, passed away at Grace Village Retirement in Winona Lake on Tuesday, November 22, 2022. She was born on March 10, 1931 to Don and Thelma Grable of Columbia City. On June 24, 1950, she married Walter W. Renier who died on March 3, 2008. 

Joy lived most of her life in Warsaw and was employed by Mason Health Care and Kosciusko Community Hospital. She was a member of the Warsaw Church of God and Widows Club of Warsaw (WOW).  Her hobbies included crocheting, attending senior events and concerts. 

Surviving are three children, Debbie (Kim) Frauhiger South Carolina,  Anita (Dan) Targgart Columbia City, and Gary (Laurie) Renier Winona Lake five grandchildren, Bryan Frauhiger, Phillip (Pam) Frauhiger, Joel (Sarah) Targgart, Olivia Renier, and Hilary Renier; two great grandchildren, Nell and Eli Targgart. She is also survived by one sister, Phyllis Yeiter; three brothers, Larry (Jeannie) Grable, Orville (Carol) Grable, and Eugene (Doris) Grable. Joy was preceded in death by her parents; spouse, Walter; and brother-in-law, Don Yeiter. 

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, is entrusted with the care of Joy. Friends and family may gather there for a visitation on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 10:00am. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 am with the burial immediately following.
