Josh Harrell

Joshua Michael Harrell, lifelong resident of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at the age of 51. He was born on August 26, 1974, the son of Jack Harrell and Sandra Miller (Corn). 

Josh was a hard worker, dedicating much of his time to working at the front desk of the Hampton Inn. He was known for his laid-back and easygoing nature, calm demeanor, and good sense of humor. Josh often engaged in deep, meaningful conversations about life, which left a lasting impression on everyone he met. 

An unwavering devotion to Jesus guided Josh throughout his life; shaping the relationships he built and the music he created. Music was his passion; he played guitar, alongside recording and producing music. He earned two technical degrees in audio engineering, expanding his fascination with the music industry. He enjoyed listening to 80s rock music and going to concerts in his spare time, especially with family members. 

Above all, Josh loved his son, Jayden, and cherished spending time with him and growing together. Along with his son, Jayden and Jayden's mother, Carmen King of Laketon, Josh is survived by his father and stepmother, Jack Harrell and Deb Torres of Warsaw. He leaves behind his siblings: Bethany (Steve) Schuler of Cincinnati, OH; Adam Harrell of Warsaw; Shaina (Eric) Rockefeller of Warsaw; Michelle (Caleb) Carpenter of Cincinnati, OH; and Leanne (Jonathon) Bingley of Pierceton. Additionally, he is survived by his uncle, Wayne Corn Jr. of Warsaw and his eleven nieces and nephews across Indiana and Ohio; all whom will miss him dearly.
