John F. Pearson, 74, of North Webster, IN passed away at 5:09 p.m. on Wednesday, July 28, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 9, 1935 in Lebanon, IN to Jasper L. & Mary Audeline (Staples) Pearson.
He was a lifetime North Webster area resident and graduated from North Webster High School. He served in the United States Air Force from December 1953 to December 1957. He was married on August 29, 1956 in Leesburg, IN to Barbara J. Cremeens who preceded him in 1966. He was married for a time to Barbara Ellen Burns and she died April 2000. On June 2, 1979 in Syracuse, IN he married Marjorie H. (Robinson) Morris who survives. He retired in 1995 from Dana Corporation in Syracuse after 30 years of service and was a member of American Legion Post 253 in North Webster.

4 Daughters – Toni Hughes of Leesburg; Juli Garza of North Webster; Jeni Bagot of North Webster; & Joni Stewart of Chicago, IL
2 Step Sons – Jack Morris of North Webster& Jim Morris of North Webster
15 Grandchildren & 7 Great Grandchildren
1 Sister – LaVonne “Vonnie” Wiggs of Pierceton
1 Brother – Ronald “Red” (wife, Liz) Pearson of Leesburg
He was preceded by his parents, step son – Joe Morris, grandson – William D. Hughes Jr., sister – Faye Gross, & brother – Jim Pearson.
Visitation will be from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 1, 2010 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd. 13 & C.R. 500N, North Webster, IN. Military rites will be performed at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home by North Webster American Legion Post 253. Burial will take place in the North Webster Cemetery (Mock Addition) at a later date.
