John M. Kelly, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at the Mason Health Care and Rehab at the age of 77. Born on July 15, 1948, in Lepanto, Arkansas, he was the son of Charles and Willa Kelly (Owen). John lived a life rich in devotion to his family.
After graduating high school, John joined the United States Army where he showcased a commitment to his country. He carried the values instilled in him throughout his life, embracing a strong work ethic coupled with a loving spirit. Professionally, John worked in management for Gulf Stream Coach in Nappanee for many years before retiring.
His family-oriented personality was evident to all who knew him. He was a devoted husband to his wife, Robin Kelly, who preceded him in death in 2009, and a caring father to his daughter, Kasie. John cherished his role as a grandfather to his four grandchildren: Jordyn, Valerie, Haley, and Wade, whom he adored and spent countless joyful moments with.
Beyond his family life, John was known for his busybody nature, always staying active and involved. He found great pleasure in golfing, being outdoors, working around his home, and indulging in the joy of going to yard sales and antiquing.
John's legacy is shaped by his close-knit relationships with his family. He is survived by his daughter, Kasie (Vincent) Dietzen; grandchildren, Jordyn, Valerie, Haley, and Wade Dietzen; sisters, Carolyn S. Childers, Martha K. Kochenderfer, Shelia D. (Stan) Small, Mary L. (Mike Easterday) Kelly, and Eva G. Pickett, as well as his brothers, Charles D. (Amanda) Kelly, Michael A. (Dale) Kelly, Danny C. (Wendy) Kelly, and Curtis R. Kelly, along with his step-siblings, Tina M. Sheffield and Ray A. "Tony" (Carolyn) Kelly. He is further survived by many nieces and nephews along with many great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his infant son, John, his wife, Robin, as well as his brother, Charles E. Hall Kelly, sister, Cora Dill and his stepsister, Zelma A. Seay.
