Jimmy L. Hartman

May 8, 1958 — June 16, 2022

Jimmy L. Hartman, lifelong resident of Warsaw, passed away at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne at 9:50am on Thursday, June 16,2022 at the age of 64.

He was born on May 8, 1958. He was a 1978 graduate of Warsaw High School. Jimmy was a blunt and honest man who told you how it was and how to fix your problems. He was also very generous and had a kind soul, helping anyone who needed it. A hero to many. His family would describe him as an M&M, hard on the outside but soft in the middle. Jimmy loved his politics and was huge Trump fan. He also collected model airplanes and enjoyed playing frisbee golf. Most of all, family was important to Jimmy.

Those who survive with his memories to cherish are his true love, April S. Baxter; his daughters, Rachel Feeny and Heather Hartman; his four grandchildren, Johnathan and Angel Mercer; and James and Denis Hartman. He is further survived by many, many friends.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with the care of Jimmy. A memorial gathering will be held on Sunday July 3, 2022, from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Warsaw Donut Shoppe/Asian Cajun, 658 S Buffalo St, Warsaw, IN 46580. At 4:00pm the Life Celebration® will begin with Don Plank and Don Miller leading with sharing memories of Jimmy. Burial will take place privately at Tippecanoe Cemetery. Memorial gifts are appreciated to Jimmy’s family for final expenses.
