Jimmie Keith Brown

Jimmie Keith Brown, 73, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 6:08 p.m. on Friday, February 8, 2019 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on January 4, 1946 in Warsaw, IN to Paul L. & Shirley (Fuson) Brown.

He attended grade school in Warsaw, attended Concord High School in Elkhart, and was a United States Army veteran. He lived most of his life in Kosciusko County except 7 years in Indianapolis and 3 years in Tennessee.  He was formerly employed at Ponderosa in Goshen, Robert Grindle Trucking in Warsaw, USA Muffler in Warsaw, and Auto Zone in Tennessee.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Patricia (Charles) McMannus of Indianapolis

3 Grandchildren – Candace Dillon, Owen McMannus, and Tyler Brown

2 Gt. Granddaughters

Companion – Karen “Kay” Cory of Syracuse

2 Sisters

He was preceded by his parents, sister – Patricia Blondell, and brother – Paul Brown Jr.

Visitation will be from 12:00 noon – 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 15, 2019 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. on Friday in the funeral home. Military graveside services will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
