Jesse Paul Davis

Jesse Paul Davis, 69, of Ligonier, IN passed away at 3:10 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at Avalon Village Healthcare in Ligonier, IN. He was born on May 19, 1952 in Decatur, IL to Douglas Malcolm & Helen Louise (Coleman) Davis.

He graduated from Cassopolis High School in Cassopolis, MI. He was formerly employed at Universal Forest Products in Michigan & Sanitation Services in Mishawaka for several years. He grew up in Cassopolis and lived most of his life in the South Bend / Mishawaka / Niles area before moving to Ligonier 3 years ago.

He is survived by:

3 Sisters – Patsy (Larry) Line of Syracuse, Anna Simon of Mishawaka, and Sheila (Terry Yoder) Cooke of Goshen

Brother – James (Deronda) Davis of For Smith, AR

Several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his parents and sister – Etta Wisdom.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Private family services will be held at a later date. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
