Jennifer Gholson, age 54, of Pierceton and rural North Webster, passed away at home on August 31, 2025, after fighting a long valiant battle against poor health. She was born on May 29, 1971, in Concord, New Hampshire, to John Ferrin and Bernadette Alosa.
Jennifer joined the United States Air Force, where she served for 12 and a half years, and attained the rank of Staff Sergeant. Her commitment and bravery were recognized through numerous awards and medals, reflecting her unwavering dedication and strength. After retiring from the Air Force in 2005, she devoted her time to creating a wonderful home and loving family environment.
Her gentle spirit brought warmth to everyone lucky enough to cross her path. She approached life with generosity and a sweet demeanor, and was especially empathetic to those less fortunate. On May 5, 2004, Jennifer married the love of her life, Robert Gholson, in Augusta, Maine, with whom she shared many beautiful moments and created cherished memories. Together they raised two wonderful daughters, BellaRose and Sianna, whom Jennifer cared for with absolute devotion. She was a proud and true Mama Bear, and always prioritized her family above all else.
Jennifer had a particular affection for the Yorkiepoo and Yorkie breeds, and her absolute favorite thing to do was to be outside and walk her beloved dogs Oscar the Grouch and Ernie. She loved to make things, whether it was arts and crafts projects, or baking cookies, cakes, and brownies, and especially when she could do so with her family. There was always fresh dessert on the counter. Jennifer enjoyed putting together puzzles and watching TV, and her favorite shows included America’s Got Talent, 20/20, Judge Judy, and 90-Day Fiancé.
Jennifer was a devoted wife and mother, and leaves behind her husband Robert Gholson of Pierceton, daughters Bellarose Ferrin, Sianna Gholson, Linda (Jeff) Steinberg, Tara (Will) Swanson. Her love extended beyond her immediate family, and she relished being a grandmother to five grandchildren.
