Jarmila "Millie" Patocka

Jarmila "Millie" Patocka, 95, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 2:20 p.m. on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at her home. She was born on August 28, 1926 in Prague, Czech Republic to Frank & Jarmila (Mackova) Zeman.

She grew up in the Czech Republic, graduated from high school there, lived in Oregon and the Chicago area until she moved to Syracuse in 2000. She formerly worked at General Electric in Cicero, IL for many years and was raised in the Catholic Church.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Alena (William Looney) Adamaitis of Syracuse

2 Grandchildren – Ashley (Tony) Lizzi of Granger & George (Renee) Adamaitis of Fishers

2 Sisters - Vladimira Rossi Longhi of Rome, Italy & Vera Morlunghi of Bali, Indonesia

Several Nieces & Nephews

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
