Janet Sue McCormick Patrick, 60, of Warsaw, IN (formerly of Syracuse) passed away at 2:10 a.m. on Tuesday May 4, 2010 in her residence. She was born on May 8, 1949 in Goshen, IN to Warren G. & Miriam E. (Losee) Benson.
She was a lifetime Kosciusko County area resident. She graduated in 1967 from Syracuse High School and attended Indiana University at South Bend. She was formerly employed at Walmart in Goshen for 4 years and Syracuse Rubber Company for 11 years. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Syracuse.
She is survived by:
3 Daughters – Mrs. Paul (Kim) Davis of Goshen; Mrs. Tony (Leslie) Vanover of Syracuse; & Mrs. Ed (Angela) Frost of Mentone
1 Son – David Kilian Jr. of Churubusco
11 Grand & 4 Gt. Grandchildren
Parents – Warren & Miriam Benson of Syracuse
Sister – Gail Sauers of Syracuse
Brother – James (wife, Pam) Benson of Syracuse
She was preceded by a great grandson – Henry Davis & brother – Carl Benson
Visitation will be Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 7, 2010 at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Boyer of the North Webster Church of God officiating.
Private family burial will be in the Syracuse Cemetery at a later date.
Memorial bequests may be given to the Janet S. Patrick Funeral Fund, c/o Owen Family Funeral Home. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
