James R. "Jim" Starbuck

James Richard “Jim” Starbuck, 73, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away at 3:09 a.m. on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at Bethlehem Woods Nursing and Rehabilitation in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on January 19, 1944 in Camden, IN to Clarence & Myrtle (Gibson) Starbuck.
He graduated from Camden High School in Camden, IN and served in the United States Air Force. He worked in the Civil Air Force fixing airplanes as a mechanic and moved to Fort Wayne in 2015 from Marion, IN
He formerly attended The Ridge in Fort Wayne, IN.
He is survived by:
3 Sisters – Helen Vanlaningham of Milford, Beverly Barturek & Sarah Lane both of Logansport
He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters – Viola Simons & Evelyn Jervis, and 3 brothers – George, Clarence, & Marion Starbuck.
Military graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Marion National Cemetery, 1700 E. 38th St., Marion, IN. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.
Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
