James R. "Jim" DeVore

James Russell “Jim” DeVore Sr., 81, of Warsaw, IN passed away at 4:10 a.m. on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at his residence. He was born on December 11, 1939 in Desloge, MO to Marvin Russell & Virginia Ruth (Cahoon) DeVore.

He graduated from Ripley High School in Ripley, TN and received his BS degree from South East Missouri State in Cape Girardeau, MO. He was married on November 12, 1985 in Stephenville, TX to Krin C. Chrisman who survives. He was a resident of the Warsaw area for the past 35 years. He retired as the General Manager / Vice President for Midwest Poultry Services in North Manchester after 30+ years.

He is survived by:

Wife – Krin DeVore of Warsaw

Son – James “Russ” (Suzanne) DeVore of Montana

2 Grandchildren – Shelby & Haley DeVore

Sister – Carol (James) Douglas of Ripley, TN

Beloved Labrador Retriever - Annabell

He was preceded in death by his parents.

No services will be held. Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
