James Osborne

February 28, 1952 — April 22, 2022

James Franklin Osborne, age 70 and a longtime resident of Warsaw, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2022 at 5:56 pm in Warsaw at Kosciusko Community Hospital.

Born in Martin, Floyd Co., Kentucky, James was the oldest of nine children. He was the son of Frank and Anna Sue (Osborne) Daniels. Professionally, he worked for Creighton Brothers, Serenade Foods and Maple Leaf Farms though his health forced him to retire in recent years.

James was both stubborn and funny. He enjoyed westerns on TV, sports of all kinds and playing cards; true to his ornery side, if you didn’t watch him closely, he would cheat to get ahead. He also enjoyed time spent with his niece, Vanessa and her family.

James is survived by seven children: Katina Webb of Burkett; James Osborne Jr. of Mentone; Chasity Osborne of Burkett; Heather Johnson of Huntington; Angela (fiancé, Lamont) Osborne of Fort Wayne; Jennifer (Charles) Rodgers of Huntington and Tommy (Jessica) Osborne of Huntington; eight siblings: Diana Burchett of Warsaw; Elizabeth (James)  Hall of Palestine; David (Brenda) Daniels of Bowling Green; Deloris (Larry) Skinner of Pennsylvania; Ricky (Mary) Daniels of Warsaw; Alicia Hall of Warsaw; Sharon (Larry) Blanton of Warsaw and Rhonda Truex of Warsaw; and 18 grandchildren.

He was preceded in passing by his parents and a granddaughter.

Titus Funeral Home is entrusted with James’ care. No public services are planned. Written condolences may be left on James’ obituary page at www.TitusFuneralHome.com while memorial gifts may be directed toward his final expenses, care of Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 2000 East Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
