J. Dale Wine passed away quietly on Friday, January 29, 2021 at home in Pierceton. Age 78 at the time of his passing, he was the son of the late Harry Dale Wine and Mary (McClone) Wine.
He was a lifetime Pierceton resident and a 1961 graduate of Pierceton High School. Professionally, he was retired from DaLite Screen in Warsaw where he started in Production; he retired as plant superintendent.
On November 14, 1960, he was united in marriage to Karen Sue Winsley. Their union was blessed with three children: Jennifer (Bret) Hopkins of Pierceton, Mike (Julie) Wine of Winona Lake and Chris (Lisa) Wine of Akron – all of whom survive. Also surviving are three grandsons: Dirk (Natalie) Hopkins of Lansing, MI, Jonathon Wine of Winona Lake and Austin Wine of Winona Lake; two brothers: Richard (Shirley) Wine of Warsaw and Robert (Susie) Wine of Kansas City, MO and sister, Gloria (Dave) Welling of Warsaw. He was preceded in passing by his parents and a granddaughter, Samantha Hopkins.
