July 12, 1943 — May 5, 2022

Jac C. Quick, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at Kosciusko Community Hospital on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at the age of 78.

Born on July 12, 1943, in Elkhart, Indiana, he was one of the eleven children of Charles and Mary Quick. The hard worker he was, Jac spent most of his career in different construction jobs. He met the love of his life Shirley Sherow six years ago and they have been together ever since.

A skilled woodworker, he made lighthouses, birdhouses, and sleighs at Christmas for his family to enjoy, being sure to let you know the difference between sleighs and sleds. Most of all, Jac loved his family, especially his dachshund Willie.

Jac will be deeply missed by his sweetheart, Shirley of Warsaw; children, Brenda (Dave) Snyder of Goshen, John (Sheri) Whitmyer Jr. of Elkhart, Tim Whitmyer of Edwardsburg, and Andy Whitmyer of Mishawaka; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Charlene (Tom) Mcnaulty of Elkhart; and brother, Charles Quick Jr. of Marshall, Michigan. He is preceded in death by his parents; step daughter, Brenda Jenkins; and several brothers and sisters.
