Jack James Brunetto, known to most as Jack, was born on March 5, 1952, in Buffalo, New York to Jack M. Brunetto and Kathleen (Dowse) Brunetto. He passed away on August 22, 2024, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne. Jack's life was marked by a dedication to both his family and the friendships he built along the way.

After growing up in Ohio, Jack attended Marion L. Steele High School in Amherst, OH and later Indiana University, Fort Wayne. He honorably served in the Air Force, which included time state-side during the Vietnam War. He built a career as an accountant, serving as the controller for several companies, including Pacemaker Buildings in North Webster and Pike Lumber in Akron. His expertise and commitment to his work were greatly respected by colleagues and peers alike.

Jack was defined by his vibrant personality. He was quick-witted and possessed a good sense of humor, engaging with everyone he met. A true friend to many, Jack embodied warmth and kindness, as he rarely knew a stranger. His commitment to community was further demonstrated through his active involvement in the Kosciusko Democratic Party, where he served as treasurer.

Among his proudest accomplishments were the cherished relationships he fostered throughout his life. Jack had a deep love for his wife of nearly 50 years, Jayne, his son, Damien, and his extended family, especially his grandchildren whom he derived immense joy spending time with. He also had a passion for theater, enjoying numerous outings to the movies and plays where laughter and shared experiences were abundant.

Those who survive include his wife, Jayne Brunetto of Warsaw; son, Damien (Kelly) Brunetto of Lincoln, NE; three grandchildren: Cecilia, Dominic & Vincent Brunetto. He is also survived by his sister Linda Brunetto of Bangor, MI and brother David (Laura) Brunetto of Amherst, OH.
