Hugh H. Buehler

Hugh H. Buehler, age 74, of Winona Lake, passed away on March 9, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital of Fort Wayne. He was born on March 20, 1951 to Albert and Evelyn Buehler in Clinton, Illinois. Hugh met his wife Martha at college and they would wed on December 21, 1974 and would have two children.

A graduate of Mt. Pulaski High School in 1969, Hugh continued his academic journey at Lakeland Community College. He was known for his wonderful sense of humor, his big heart, and his kindness to others.

Hugh dedicated many years of his professional life to OMCO in Pierceton. A man of many passions, he found joy in golfing at Racoon Run and Rozella. Additionally, he was a devoted fan of University of Illinois Basketball.

Hugh is survived by his beloved wife, Martha Buehler of Winona Lake, and their children Shannon (Brian) Armstrong of Indianapolis and Matthew (Jennifer) Buehler of Warsaw. His role as a grandfather was particularly dear to him, and he leaves behind grandchildren Avery and Sam Armstrong, along with A.J., Tyler, and Elliott Buehler, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his sister, Cathy (George) Gerdes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings Bert Buehler and Wendy Austin.

A Life Celebration Visitation in honor of Hugh will take place on March 14, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, located at 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580. His funeral service will start at 2:00 PM at the funeral home.
