Gloria Jean Rigdon, age 77, of Warsaw, passed away peacefully at Parkview Regional Medical Center on December 19, 2025. She was born on March 1, 1948, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Raymond and Pauline (Miller) Warrick. She was a proud graduate of Northside High School, Class of 1966. She married Dale Rigdon III on July 15, 1967, and they shared 53 years together.
Gloria had a fulfilling career at NIPSCO, where she worked in the office for over 20 years. She then worked for Grace Village Retirement as an activities leader.
Throughout her lifetime, Gloria found joy in simple pleasures, the greatest being music. She loved to sing. In her earlier years, she played the accordion and piano and was a member of the Purdue Extension Choir. Some of her hobbies included sewing, painting, and playing card games, as well as watching game shows, including her favorite, Wheel of Fortune. Gloria had a passion for baking and was renowned for her delicious apple pie and meatloaf. She cherished her family and friends, and her smile and laugh will be remembered by all who knew her. She also found comfort in time spent by the water. Having lived on Chapman Lake for many years, Gloria embraced lake life. She would sit on her porch swing, enjoying the sunsets after a relaxing boat ride.
Gloria was a devoted follower of Jesus. She was a member of Warsaw Wesleyan Church for 26 years, where she participated in the Helping Hands Ministry Soup Kitchen and went on two mission trips to Haiti. She recently attended Living Hope Ministries. She loved to serve others and volunteered at Combined Community Services.
Gloria is survived by her children, Christine (Dennis) Jameson of Arkansas and Sarah (Tim) Frame of Warsaw. She will be deeply missed by her grandchildren, Brett Stephens, Landon and Brennen Frame.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Rigdon III, who passed away in 2021; her parents; and her three brothers, Billie, Charles, and Richard Warrick.
