Glenn C. Munk, age 70, of Winona Lake, a devoted father, grandfather, musician, and veteran, passed away on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in Winona Lake, Indiana. He was born on June 11, 1955, in Goldbach, Germany to Charles Munk and Marianna (Lauterbacher) Birkholz. Glenn's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his passions.
A 1973 graduate of Northrop High School in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Glenn went on to serve his nation with honor in the United States Army. His pride in his military service was a cornerstone of his identity, and he cherished the experiences and camaraderie that came with his time in uniform.
Professionally, Glenn made significant contributions during his years of work at Flexaust and 24/7 Cars in Warsaw. His commitment and work ethic earned him the respect of colleagues and friends alike, and his presence was a steady and reliable influence in every workplace he was part of.
Beyond his career and service, Glenn found joy in his artistic talents and interests. A gifted guitarist and passionate musician, he delighted in playing music and sharing his love for the craft with those around him. His appreciation for war movies underscored a lifelong respect for history and the sacrifices made by those who served.
Glenn is survived by his cherished daughter, Veronica (Rob) Boley of Winona Lake, and his beloved granddaughter, Natalie Boley, whose lives brought him profound happiness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Munk and Marianna (Lauterbacher) Birkholz.
