Geneva Bayne, of Warsaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 23, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne at the age of 78. She was born on January 6, 1948, in Prestonsburg, Kentucky, the daughter of Virgle Preston Prater and Pearlie Prater (Adams). She lived a life marked by warmth, laughter, and a deep commitment to those she loved.

Geneva was the proud owner of her own daycare for 20 years, a testament to her nurturing spirit and passion for caring for those around her. Her proudest accomplishments were her family and grandchildren, whom she loved above all else. She brought joy and comfort to many throughout her life, always knowing how to make them laugh.

Beyond her professional life, Geneva had many hobbies and interests that reflected her lively character. She was a devoted fan of WWE wrestling, especially when it came to Roman Reigns. She would always say, “He’s, my husband.” She also enjoyed playing bingo and trying her luck at slot machines at the casino. Geneva found enjoyment watching classic shows on Nick at Nite such as Andy Griffith, The Golden Girls, and Gunsmoke. Night drives were another favorite pastime, moments she enjoyed with her friends and family.

Geneva is survived by her children, Cindy (Richard) Martin and Mike (Katie) Miller, and her cherished grandchildren: Taylor (Juan Lopez) Miller, Kelsie Miller, Samantha Miller, Sidney Miller, Shawntal (Esteven) Schmerber, Amanda Miller, California Simmons,  and Julia McFarland. She was also blessed with 12 great-grandchildren who were the light of her life. She is further survived by her siblings, Juanita Shepherd, Phyllis (Greg) Varney, Barb (Darrell) Prater, and Arnold (Amy) Prater, along with her sister-in-law Judy Prater.

Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Rick Bayne, her sons, Robert Miller, David Miller, as well as grandchildren, Trevin Miller and Jarred Miller. Her siblings, Wilford Prater, Donald Prater, Clifford Prater, Mary Prater, and Ronald Prater also welcomed her into Heaven.
