Gabriel Dave De La Cruz, age 43, of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2026. Born on May 12, 1983, Gabriel's life was marked by devotion to his family, dedication to his career, and a zest for the outdoors.
Family bonds were everything to Gabriel. He treasured time spent visiting loved ones in Detroit and relished the warmth and laughter that filled those reunions. Whether it was camping, hiking, or exploring caves, Gabriel found joy being surrounded by nature, alongside those he cherished most. His passion for the outdoors was matched only by his enthusiasm for new adventures with his family, creating memories that will be remembered fondly. Gabriel worked at ABC Industries.
Gabriel was a God-fearing man whose faith guided the way he lived his life. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need, and his kindness, generosity, and caring spirit touched the lives of many.
Gabriel is remembered by those who loved him as a steadfast and loving presence. He is survived by his wife, Meagan De La Cruz, who stood by his side through every high and low, and their three children: Brandon, Joshua, and Jazmyn De La Cruz, who were the light of his life. Gabriel also leaves behind his beloved mother, Cindy De La Cruz; his stepfather, Brian Donakowski; his siblings, Alicia (William) Kline and Christopher Francis; his dear grandmother, Hazel Cottrelle; his godparents, Anthony and Mary Serrano.
Gabriel’s passing is mourned by all who knew him. He joins his grandfather, Pedro De La Cruz; grandmother, Petra De La Cruz; and his mother-in-law, Loretta Jean King, who preceded him in death.
The family is grieving privately at this time and will be having a memorial service at a later date in Detroit. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 2000 Sheridan Street, Warsaw, IN 46580.
Donations may be made to Titus Funeral Home to help Gabriel's family during this time of sorrow.
