Freda M Rinker

Freda M. Rinker, age 90, of Syracuse, passed away on October 22, 2026, in Warsaw, Indiana. She was born on August 12, 1936, in Flora, Indiana to Elmer and Mabel (Justice) Largen. 

Freda will be remembered as a woman who found joy in both work and simple pleasures. She worked at State Bank for many years, giving a steady and faithful part of herself to that role. Outside of work, she enjoyed playing cards, games, and bingo, pastimes that brought laughter, companionship, and many happy moments.

Her family was an important part of her life. She is survived by her four wonderful children, Tracy (Mark) Sumpter of Syracuse, Terry Rinker of Florida, Sandy (Jack) Angel of Syracuse, and Randy (Lisa) Rinker of Syracuse. In addition to her children, Freda leaves behind her 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren that she cherished. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Jill Breezley, and her brother, Chuck Largen.

Freda M. Rinker will be remembered with affection by those who knew her and with deep love by her family. Her life leaves behind many memories to be treasured. The family is grieving privately.
