Elizabeth M. Mast

Elizabeth Marie Mast, of North Webster, passed away on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at The Waters of Columbia City at the age of 82.

Known to most as Marie, she was born on January 10, 1944, in Pennsylvania, the daughter of Ivan and Goldie Ritzert (Bowerser). Marie was known for her bubbly and easygoing nature. She brought warmth to those around her and will be remembered for the kind spirit she shared with family and friends.

Marie worked as a waitress for many years and also worked at Sun Metal Products. She took pride in her work and in the life she built over the years. On October 16, 1982, she married Steven W. Mast in Syracuse, beginning a marriage that remained an important part of her life. She also enjoyed collecting many mice figurines.

She is survived by her husband, Steven Mast; her daughters, Melanie McNeil and Nikki Priest; and her sons, Lester Mast and Brian Mast. She is further survived by her 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
