Eleanor Stiffler Hillery

Eleanor (Mathews) Stiffler Hillery, 93, of New Paris, IN went to her eternal heavenly home at 2:02 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, 2020 after a brief illness at Goshen Hospital. She was born on September 26, 1926 in New Paris, In to Lloyd & Cecelia (Arnold) Mathews.

She graduated from New Paris High School and was a lifetime New Paris / Syracuse area resident. She retired from G.T.I. in Leesburg after 30 years.

She is survived by:

Daughter – Connie Stiffler of New Paris

Son – Robert “Bob” (Joy) Stiffler of North Manchester, IN

2 Grandchildren – Jamie (Gwenda) Stiffler of Guam & Jodi (Jason) Rhoades of Pierceton

9 Gt. Grandchildren – Alex & Jake Rhoades, Chase, Wyatt, Derek, Brady, Zoey, Emmett, and Elijah Stiffler

Sister in Law – Mary Alice Mathews of Elkhart

Nephews – Dana (Susan) Mathews, Steve (Marilyn) Mathews, Bruce (Linda) Mathews, and Howie (Tracy) Mathews

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother – Howard Mathews.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. Services will be held at a later date.
