Edna A. Hill

Edna A. Hill, 92, of Syracuse, IN passed away at 1:25 p.m. on Thursday, October, 8, 2020 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Syracuse, IN. She was born on April 1, 1928 in Mooers Forks, NY to Earl A. & Rosa Ethlyn (Massey) Moore.

She graduated from Mooers High School, NY and attended Houghton College in Houghton, NY. She was married on January 22, 1948 in Mooers Forks, NY to Stanley A. “Stan” Hill who preceded her on March 23, 1986. She moved to Kosciusko County in July 1973 from Illinois, was a homemaker, and retired in 2007 from Elite Design in Syracuse as a receptionist after 7 ½ years.

She was a member of the Vineyard Community Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by:

2 Daughters- Cathy Ervin of North Webster & Suzanne (Bernard) Henriques of Milford

Son - Stephen (Pamela) Hill of Cromwell

9 Grand & 28 Gt. Grand, & 7 Gt. Gt. Grandchildren

2 Brothers-Loyal (Jean) Moore & Kenneth (Patricia) Moore both of Glen Allen, VA

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sister-Dorothea Moore.

Visitation will be from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Private family graveside services will be held at the Oakwood Cemetery in Warsaw, IN with son, Steve Hill officiating.
