Earl Edward Colglazier, passed away peacefully at his home on Lake Wawasee on December 1st, 2025, at the age of 86.
He was born on January 10th, 1939 to Russell Keneth Colglazier and Helen Josephine (Nice) Colglazier in Anderson IN. Both Russell and Helen have preceded him in passing.
Raised on a farm in Washington County IN. He learned the value of hard work. He owned a barbershop on Sample Street in South Bend, worked in the core room at Torrington Foundry and his remaining years the founder of Colglazier Concessions, working as a food vender at fairs and festivals across the Midwest.
In addition, he was involved in prison ministries for many years. Earl was known for his vibrant personality. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing euchre with family and friends.
Earl was preceded in death by his first wife, Nancy Irene (Parsley) Colglazier, they were married 57 years and raised four children together: Joseph (Mona) Colglazier, Joni (Craig) Nedderman Jon (Kim) Colglazier and Jason (Tina) Colglazier. Also surviving is his sister Jane (Colglazier) Carlton.
Together they had 16 Grandchildren, 26 Great Grandchildren and 4 Godchildren. Also surviving is his second wife, Janet (Nottingham) Colglazier at home on Lake Wawasee. They enjoyed their summers at the Lake Wawasee and winters in Ormond Beach, FL.
In addition of Nancy's passing he was preceded in death by his son, Jon Colglazier, brother Paul Colglazier and granddaughter, Brooke Colglazier.
A Celebration of Life will be held December 17, 2025 from 1-5 P.M at the American Legion Post 357, South Bend IN.
