Dorothy Lucille Firestone, age 88, of Goshen, passed away on August 23, 2026, in Goshen, Indiana. She was born on February 21, 1938, to Wilbur and Esther (Pollock) Bailey in Goshen, Indiana.

Dorothy grew up in Goshen, Indiana, where she nurtured lifelong values. She graduated from Goshen High School, an early accomplishment that reflected her commitment to education and personal growth. Those who knew Dorothy were often inspired by her drive and steadfast work ethic, exemplified in her remarkable 42-year career with L.C.I. Premier. During these many years, Dorothy made meaningful contributions to her workplace and formed bonds with countless colleagues, earning respect and affection for her dependability.

Faith was at the heart of Dorothy’s life. She found comfort, purpose, and a strong sense of fellowship attending Calvary United Methodist Church in Syracuse.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Pearson, her son, Danny Firestone of Middlebury, and two brothers Kenneth Bailey of Elkhart and Phillip Bailey of Goshen. Dorothy’s life was further enriched by her 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren, whose accomplishments and happiness brought her endless pride and joy. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother.
