Don S. "Steve" Davis

Don S. “Steve” Davis, 81, Of Warsaw, IN (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Sunday, August 29, 2021 at Grace Village Healthcare in Winona Lake, IN. He was born on September 27, 1939 in Syracuse, IN to Donald & Emogene (Eby) Davis.

He graduated in 1958 from Syracuse High School and was married on April 23, 1961 in New Paris, IN to Marlene M. Kirkdorffer who survives. He retired from R.R. Donnelley in Warsaw after 30+ years and formerly worked at Penn Controls in Goshen & Weatherhead in Syracuse. He lived most of his life in the Syracuse area and lived in Sebring, FL for 5 years before moving to Warsaw in 2018.

He formerly attended the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel in Syracuse & the Independent Baptist Church in Sebring, FL.

He is survived by:

Wife – Marlene Davis of Warsaw

Daughter – Tonda (Jay) Kaiser of Milford

Son – Todd (Katrina) Davis of Warsaw

6 Grand & 10 Gt. Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday in the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox officiating. Private family burial will be in the Milford Cemetery.

Masks and social distancing are encouraged by the family & funeral home staff. No food is permitted in the funeral home at this time.
