Donna L. Workman, age 97, of Syracuse passed away peacefully on October 31, 2025. A lifelong resident of Syracuse, Donna was born to Forrest & Ruby Galloway on August 16, 1928. Donna graduated from Syracuse High School in 1946. She married Richard "Dick" Workman on September 21, 1946.

Donna worked at Galloway Grocery, her family's business, the Syracuse License Branch, and Ace Hardware in Syracuse throughout her life. Her unwavering commitment to her work was a testament to her strong character.

Known for her remarkable talent in the kitchen, she loved spending time with her family and often prepared large, delicious meals for them to share. An avid gardener, Donna found great joy in nurturing her gardens and flowers.

Her love of life extended beyond her home—she cherished her winters in Florida, where she delighted in the warmth and spending time with friends in Florida.

As a long-time member of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel, Donna was deeply rooted in her faith and her community. Her spirit and enthusiasm for life were infectious, inspiring those around her to appreciate the simple things and to live fully.

She leaves behind her beloved children, Mark (Kathy) Workman of Warsaw and David (Julia) Workman of Syracuse, along with eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren who will carry forward her legacy of love and joy. Donna is preceded in death by her husband, Ric Workman, and her sister, Mary Elizabeth Hare.

The family is grieving privately. Donna and her husband will be laid to rest at a later date at McClintic Cemetery overlooking Lake Wawasee. Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1001 S. Huntington Street, Syracuse, IN 46567.
