Donna Woodruff

November 13, 1952 — January 18, 2024

Warsaw

Donna Jean (Manley) Woodruff, 71, fell asleep in death gently and peacefully, surrounded by family who love her deeply on January 18, 2024, in Warsaw, Indiana.

Donna was born on November 13, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, to her loving parents, Emmanuel Roy and Julia Manley. She lived a life marked by love, dedication, generosity, and an unwavering commitment to her loved ones. Donna was born the third of six children and was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Roy, Ronnie, and Julie.

Donna was a hardworking and determined individual who was deeply devoted to her family. She was a loving mother to her six cherished children: Danna Silva, Theresa Shoemaker, Norman Woodruff, Sarah Woodruff, and David Woodruff. Sadly, one of her beloved children, Abijah Woodruff, has already passed away. Donna's 11 grandchildren held a special place in her heart.

Donna was a beautiful, creative woman who valued privacy and loved family. She had a complex and mysterious nature, but her good-nature and generous spirit shone through. Donna was known for her love, selflessness, compassion, and loyalty.

She had a deep love for nature, animals, and especially cats. She enjoyed taking walks, reading, collecting various items, drinking teas, dancing, word puzzles, riding bikes, and spending time with her grandchildren, always ensuring they had fun. Her faith in God was always important to her.

Family was always of primary importance in her life as she selflessly gave her best to family and friends.

Reminiscing of our days as kids, our house was always full of memories of kids running in and out of our home, mom caring for them and neighbors stopping by often. People seemed to naturally gravitate to her. She showed love with actions. From her earlier life and to her death, mom was loving, selfless and had a quiet strength.

She had a truly unique bond with each of her children and grandchildren. All these things made her easy to love.

She worked to the end of her life. She was a sweet, hard-working, loyal employee for 33 years. Donna's memory will forever be cherished by her surviving siblings, Christina Fleek and Robert Fleek, along with her extended family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Donna found solace and worshiped at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Warsaw, Indiana, by contacting them at (574) 267-4594.

Donna's life will be celebrated at a service held at Titus Funeral Home located at 2000 Sheridan St, Warsaw, IN 46580.
