Donna Stewart

Donna Stewart, a cherished figure in the lives of her family and community, went home to be with her Lord on November 25, 2025, at the age of 97 in Deland, Florida. Born on October 29, 1928, to Forrest and Mary (Garrison) Ringler. Donna lived a full and vibrant life that spanned nearly a century, leaving behind a legacy of love and dedication.

Donna graduated from Syracuse High School in 1946, later pursuing further education at Warner Beauty College in Fort Wayne. Her career as a lab technician at Gulf Coast Center in Fort Myers.

A woman of strong faith, Donna was a devoted member of Volusia County Baptist Church and had formerly attended Grace Bible Church in Syracuse. Her spiritual convictions guided her life and were an essential part of her identity.

Having grown up in Syracuse, Donna moved to Florida in 1963, where she embraced her new community with open arms. She was a loving mother to her daughters, Kathy (Paul) Mills and Sherry Hunter, both of whom reside in Deland, Florida; three grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Along with her sister Wanda Neibert of Irmo, South Carolina. Donna is remembered fondly by her family, who will carry on her spirit and values.

She was predeceased by her beloved daughter, Penny Morris, and her grandson, Shawn Mills. Donna also mourned the loss of her two sisters, Norma Personette and Beverly "Joan" Neer, as well as her parents, who preceded her in death.

Arrangements are entrusted to Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1001 S. Huntington Street, Syracuse, IN 46567. Burial will be on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Syracuse Cemetery.
