Donna "Nana" Mosco

Donna Jean Mosco, 70, of Pierceton, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly at her home on October 18, 2025. Born on July 23, 1955, in Indianapolis, Donna lived a life overflowing with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family, friends, and community.

Donna’s story is one of strength, generosity, and heart. As a single mother, she worked many jobs to provide for her children, eventually building a beloved daycare that became a second home to hundreds of children over the years. She poured her heart into every child who came through her doors, treating each one as family.

Fierce, protective, and endlessly loving, Donna had a way of making everyone feel welcome. She laughed most when surrounded by her grandchildren and loved nothing more than sitting around the kitchen table, sharing memories and conversations for hours. She was the glue that held her family together, always hosting big gatherings and making sure everyone was home for Christmas.

Donna loved traveling — Tennessee was her favorite place to visit — and every vacation with her was full of laughter, long drives, and unforgettable moments. She never went anywhere without her Diet Pepsi, and she found joy in the simple things: good food, family, and love.

Donna’s legacy lives on through her children: Stephanie Saenz (wife Rosanna), Rachel Faurote (husband Timothy), Jaclyn Alexander, Joshua Stufflebeam, Dominic Blair, Donovan Blair, and Gavin Blair; her grandchildren Jordan, Geremia, Elijah, Dominick, Isiah, Gabryal, Hadley, Braxton (Breann), Jace (Autumn), Landen, Kenadee, Kendall, Ethan, Legacy, and Axel; and her great-grandchildren Kade, Liza, and Beckym.

She is also survived by her siblings, brother Ken Malott and sisters Cheri King, Kathleen Allen, and Sandy Ulery. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ruby Sanders and Kenneth Malott.

Donna’s life was also beautifully enriched by her closest friends, Diane Findlay, her friend of 25 years, and Dalila Rodriguez, her friend of 45 years. These two remarkable women stood by her side through the best and hardest moments of life — Their bond was one of unwavering love, loyalty, and sisterhood.

Donna’s legacy is not only carried on through her family but through every daycare child and parent whose lives she touched. She led with kindness, stubborn strength, and a heart that gave without hesitation. Her favorite flower, the Gladiolus, reflects the strength and grace she embodied.

Her family will always remember her love for children, her Christmas parties, her Tennessee trips, and the way she made everyone feel at home. She taught her children to be kind and to always try their hardest, and she hoped her community would always love living especially in North Webster — and treat everyone as a friend.

A Life Celebration for Donna will be held at Titus Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 8056 East 500 North, North Webster, IN 46555 on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Donna Jean Mosco will be remembered for her big heart, her love for children, her leadership, and the way she brought people together. She was truly everyone’s rock — and her love will live on through the generations she inspired.
