Donald J. Ratliff

Donald J. Ratliff, known as Don, was born on April 19, 1962 to Donald P. & Mary (Delauter) Ratliff, in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He was a graduate of Reuther High School in Kenosha, Don also attended ITT Technical Institute. He passed away unexpectedly on May 26, 2025, at Goshen Hospital in Goshen, Indiana.

Don was a dedicated and hardworking individual, with a remarkable career that spanned 46 years at Maple Leaf Farms. He was a true testament to commitment and perseverance in his job; he was still working when he passed away.

Don had a warm and gentle personality, often described as serious but generous. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. In his free time, he enjoyed working on and riding his motorcycles, time on the lake, and he was quite handy around the house. Vacationing with his wife and spending quality time with friends and family brought him great joy.

He is survived by his loving wife, Paula Ratliff of Syracuse; his children, Casandra (Jesus) Alba of Goshen and Bridgette Picard of Seattle; two granddaughters and one grandson and his sister, Seanna (Kathleen) Delauter. He was preceded in passing by his parents, Donald P. Ratliff and Mary K. Ratliff and a brother, Timothy Ratliff and infant sister, Donna Ratliff

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1001 S. Huntington Street, Syracuse is entrusted with care of Don and the Ratliff family. The family will be having friends join them on June 7, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5PM at the Channel Marker, 5793 E Pickwick Dr, Syracuse, IN 46567. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the donors choice for a cancer association. 

Another memorial gathering will take place at a later date in Wisconsin.
