Dennis L. Jones, 61, of Phoenix, AZ (formerly of Syracuse) passed away suddenly on March 12, 2012 in Phoenix. He was born February 5, 1951 in Warsaw, IN to Ray D. & Virginia C. (Ringler) Jones.
He grew up in the Syracuse area and attended Syracuse High School. He moved to Arizona 35 years ago and was employed by Jenco Electric in Arizona. He was married to Juanita Jones who survives.
He is survived by:
Wife – Juanita Jones of Arizona
2 Daughters – Shanna Dawson of Warsaw, IN & Kristy Jones of Phoenix
2 Sons – Dustin Jones & Dennis Jones Jr. both of Phoenix
Step Son – Tony
3 Grandchildren - Brooke, Lanie, & Gunner Slone
2 Gt. Grandchildren – Kallie & Ross Slone
Mother – Virginia Jones of Syracuse
2 Sisters – Mrs. Larry (Kay) Belcher of Goshen & Mrs. Dave (Ginger) Palmer of Kingston, OH
Brother – Mitch (wife, Tracie) Jones of Syracuse
He was preceded in death by his father.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Private burial will take place in the Syracuse Cemetery. Memorial bequest may be given to the donor’s choice.
