Debra Ann Miller

Debra Ann Miller, 64, of Manchester, MI (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at her home. She was born on August 11, 1957 in Elkhart, IN to Charles “Bud” & Alice (Witte) Miller.

She was raised in Syracuse, IN, graduated in 1975 from Wawasee High School Class in Syracuse, and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Indiana University.

Deb lived and raised her daughter in Livonia, Michigan and retired from her career at Ford Motor Company after 38 years. She moved to Manchester, Michigan and married Craig Gaal in 2015.

She is survived by:

Daughter - Julie (Scott) Winders

Grandsons - Micah and Blake

Husband - Craig Gaal

Siblings - Susan (Stewart) Kraft and Chuck (Lisa) Miller

Nieces & Nephew - Stacey (Scott) Mehlberg, Christine Miller, and Austen Miller

Grand Niece & Nephews - Addison, Zachary, and Darryn.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother - Terry Miller.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at Owen family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Memorial services will follow at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday in the funeral home with Pastor John Hickey of the Lutheran Church in Goshen officiating. Burial will follow in the Syracuse Cemetery.
