Debra A. Lewis

Debra A. Lewis “Chent”, of Warsaw, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, October 20, 2025, in her residence at the age of 64. Born on May 25, 1961, in Uniontown, Alabama, she was the daughter of Will and Ethel Mae Lewis (Swain). Debra's journey was characterized by her outgoing, free-spirited personality, which touched the lives of many.

Debra's love for her family was unparalleled. She was a devoted mother to her daughter, Tomeka Lewis, and a proud grandmother to her grandchildren, Zuri Lewis and Myheir Baker. Her family remained a central part of her life, and she found immense joy in their presence.

In addition to her dedication to family, Debra was an enthusiastic sports fan, particularly enjoying watching basketball.

Along with her daughter and grandchildren, she is survived by her siblings, Yvonne Lewis-Clayton, Alfreda Wooten, Willie Lewis, Franklin Lewis, and Calvin Lewis. She is preceded in death by her parents, Will and Ethel Mae Lewis (Swain), as well as her brothers, Richard Swain and Charles Lewis.
