Deborah D. Burkholder, of Pierceton, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 2, 2026, at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital at the age of 67. Born on August 24, 1958, in San Antonio, Texas, she was the daughter of Charles and Ruby Peters (Nichols).
Deb dedicated much of her life to her career, owning her own cleaning business and earning the admiration of her clients. Known for her vibrant personality, she was lovingly referred to as a “wild woman” by many, with a family-oriented nature that made her the heart of her family. Deb found joy in many hobbies, from crocheting to embracing the lively spirit of the casino through gambling and pull tabs. She also was an avid fan of Janis Joplin and loved the Dallas Cowboys, Angels and gnomes.
Deb took immense pride in her family. She leaves behind her daughter, Robbilee (Waseem) Ansari, her special daughters, Brendy (Bob) Weldy and Brandy (Will) Lee, and her grandchildren: Juan (Shyla Young) Flores, Charles "Joey" Flores, Zain Ansari, Ruby Weldy, and Lillie Lee. She is further survived by her siblings, Charlotte Williams, Karen Parchman, Charles Peters Jr., and Kathy Parker, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Donald Burkholder, Jerry Dewey, and Albert Reese; and her sister, Sylvia Pfeuffer.
