David R. Seeley

David R. Seeley, of Pierceton, passed away at Lutheran Kosciusko Hospital on Tuesday, January 9, 2024, at the age of 74. Born on November 29, 1949, he was the son of Burton and Lorraine (Lathem) Seeley.

David proudly served his country in the United States Navy. After he was honorably discharged, he worked as a landscaper in Illinois for many years until he retired. In his spare time, David enjoyed woodworking, cheering on his favorite team, the Chicago Cubs, and watching game shows on the television. A solitary individual with a gentle heart, David’s compassion extended to the birds in his backyard; he loved to build birdhouses, hung numerous feeders with fresh seed and suet, and often sat quietly to watch his birds.

David is survived by his brother, Steven (Debra) Seeley; sister, Suzanne Morgan; nieces and nephews, Christina Seeley, Eric Adams, and Kellie (Donald) Shuler; great nieces and nephews, Hayley (Tri), Mia, Douglas, Andrew, Daniel, and Carter; and great, great nephew, Grey. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law, William Morgan.

Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Warsaw is entrusted with David’s care. A private memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
