Dane Edward Gans

Dane Edward Gans, 54, of Warsaw, IN (formerly of Syracuse, IN) passed away at 3:21 p.m. on Saturday, September 19, 2020 at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN. He was born on August 15, 1966 in Elkhart, IN to Carlyle & Connie (Poyser) Gans.

He attended Wawasee High School in Syracuse and lived most of his life in the Syracuse / Warsaw area. He was a self-employed contractor. He formerly attended the Wawasee Heights Baptist Church in Syracuse.

He is survived by:

Daughter – Ashley (Duen) Austin of Fort Wayne

Son – Aaron Gans of Fort Wayne

7 Grandchildren

2 Sisters – Vicki (Paul) Ogden of Greensburg, IN & Elise Gans of Syracuse

2 Brothers – Jerry Gans of Texas & Daryl Gans of Ligonier

He was preceded by his parents and brother – Laron Gans.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. A Celebration of Life gathering will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN.
