Dale Coleman, 43, of Syracuse, IN died Monday morning, August 25, 2008 following an apparent heart attack at work in Elkhart. He was born on January 29, 1965 in Pikeville, KY to James J. & Joyce A. (Goff) Coleman.

He grew up in Pikeville, KY and attended John's Creek High School in Pikeville. He moved to the Kosciusko and Elkhart County area about 20 years ago from Tennessee. He was married on February 10, 2006 in Syracuse to Sharonald E. (Sandlin) Weisser who survives.

He was a supervisor at Versatile Manufacturing in Elkhart since June 2007. He was formerly employed at Smoker Craft in New Paris, Dana Corp. in Syracuse, and Vitco in Nappanee. He was a member of the Kosciusko County ABATE Motorcycle Association and formerly attended the Baptist Church in Pikeville.

He is survived by:

2 Sons - Joshua Dale Coleman of Goshen & Bryton Dale Coleman of New Paris
2 Step Sons - Wesley Weisser & Matthew Weisser both of Syracuse
Mother - Joyce Coleman of Raccoon, KY
2 Brothers - Donald (wife, Gloria) Coleman of Mt. Juliet, TN & Ronald (wife, Lana) Coleman of Nashville, TN

He was preceded in death by his father, 2 brothers - Dewayne Coleman and an infant twin brother.

Visitation will be from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at the funeral home with Pastor Brad Cox of the Wawasee Lakeside Chapel officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Milford.

Memorial bequests may be made to the Milford Lions Club. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
