Curtis D. "Tom" Maynard, 43, of Goshen, IN died at 5:21 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26, 2009 at Goshen General Hospital. He was born on March 7, 1966 in Huntington, W. VA to Rev. Paul & Janice L. (Mealey) Maynard.
He graduated in 1983 from Waite High School in Toledo, OH and moved to Syracuse area in 1986 from Ohio. He was formerly employed at Tenneco Automotive (formerly Walkers) in Ligonier, IN for 22 years.
He is survived by:
Parents - Paul & Janice Maynard of Syracuse;
3 Sisters - Mrs. Ray (Ilidia) Wiles of Monroe, MI, Mrs. Pat (Melanie) Lemay of Toledo, OH, & Mrs. Jerry (Cynthia) Locker of Toledo, OH;
Paternal Grandmother - Frankie Maynard of Rutledge, TN;
5 Nephews & 1 Niece
He was preceded in death by an infant brother - Paul Maynard Jr.
Visitation will be from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, August 31, 2009 and from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN. Funeral services will be at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at the funeral home with Rev. Paul Maynard officiating. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at the Hillcrest Cemetery, Route 75, Kenova, W. VA with Dr. Donald Crisp officiating.
