Cindy Walls

Cindy Ann Walls, of Warsaw, passed away on Sunday, June 7, 2026, at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne at the age of 63. Born May 22, 1963, in Fairmount, Indiana, she was the daughter of Martin and Eva Leavitt (Stroup). Cindy dedicated her life to nurturing those around her, leaving a legacy of love and devotion.

Cindy was known for her family-oriented nature, a cornerstone of her personality that was evident in all she did. She found joy in spending time with her loved ones, especially her grandchildren, whose lives she brightened with her warmth and affection. She also enjoyed fishing, playing The Sims, reading romance novels, and drawing, all activities that brought her comfort and happiness.

She is lovingly remembered by her life partner, Richard; her children, Ricky Courson, Nicholas Leavitt (Donna Gaskin), Shaytonna Leavitt, Ashley Dulworth (Josh), and Heyley Benedict, along with her 13 grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings, Rhoenia and Scott Leavitt, and her father, Marty Leavitt, each holding her memories. She was preceded in death by her mother, Eva Leavitt (Stroup), and her brother, Bernard Leavitt.

Surrounded by her family in her final moments, Cindy's passing marks the end of a chapter defined by love, devotion, and quiet strength. Her presence enriched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed.
