Charolette J. Bond

Charolette J. Bond, 79, of North Webster, IN passed away at 3:05 p.m. on Sunday, February 14, 2021 at her granddaughter’s home in North Webster, IN. She was born on July 26, 1941 in Windber, PA to Alvin Quay & Londa Vermont (Shaffer) Lambert.

She moved to Akron, OH in 1956, graduated in 1959 from Garfield High School in Akron, OH, and moved to Indiana in 1971. She was married on September 23, 1977 in Coldwater, MI to Chester Herbert “Chet” Bond who preceded her on August 12, 2013. She formerly worked at Vega Corporation in Syracuse, and retired from Tri County Fish & Wildlife in Syracuse after 32 years. She also drove truck & heavy equipment for Bond Excavating for many years.

She formerly attended the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Windber, PA and loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and especially mushroom hunting. Her last time to hunt she got her largest deer which was 13 points. She loved her hummingbirds, enjoyed reading, watching the Hallmark Channel, was an avid BINGO player, and loved her grandchildren & great grandchildren more than anything.

2 Grandchildren – Dustin Sieglinger & Danyelle (Wes) Hubbs

3 Gt. Grandchildren – Ethan, Sylus, and Charlotte

Several Step Grand & Gt. Grandchildren

5 Step Daughters – Janice, Kathy, Linda, Susan, and Cindy

3 Step sons – Dennis, Kenny, and Wayne

Sister – Darlene Lamb of Ohio

2 Brothers – Albert Lambert of Illinois & Ivan Lambert of Ohio

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, infant son, step daughter – Jodi Bond, and 3 Gt. Grandchildren – Quinten Price, Harland Hubbs, and Atley Hubbs, and 2 brothers- Quay & Earl Lambert

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd. 15, Warsaw, IN. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Owen Family Funeral Home, St. Rd 13 & CR 500N, North Webster, IN. Private burial will be in the Mock Addition of the North Webster Cemetery.
