Charles Dewey “Charlie” Roberts Jr., 70, of Milford, IN passed away at 4:04 p.m. on Friday, October 29, 2021 at his home. He was born on May 21, 1951 in Louisville, KY to Charles Dewey & Bertha Mae (Hayes) Roberts Sr.

He graduated from high school in Clay Center, Kansas and received his Associates Degree from Ivy Tech in Warsaw. He was married on November 27, 1987 in Clay Center, KS to Carolyn A. (Perkins) James who survives and Moved to Milford in 1987. He was employed at Martin’s Supermarkets in Warsaw for 3 years and formerly worked at several local R.V. factories.

He is survived by:

Wife – Carolyn Roberts of Milford

2 Stepdaughters – Wendy (Darryl) Courser of Haysville, KS & Lisa (Bradley) Carlson of Derby, KS

2 Stepsons – Kenny (Wendy) James of Belair, KS & Roger James of South Whitley

2 Sisters – Teresa (Reggie) Wilks of Salina, KS & Vivian (Pat) Kurtenbach of Clay Center, KS

10 Step Grand & 5 Step Gt. Grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents & step grandson – Matthew Clardy.

Cremation will take place at Cremation Services of Kosciusko County, 4356 N. St. Rd 15, Warsaw, IN. No public services will be held. Owen Family Funeral Home, 1001 S. Huntington St., Syracuse, IN is in charge of arrangements.

Preferred memorials may be given to theK-21 Foundation or Kosciusko Home Care & Hospice.
