Charles E. Frost, known affectionately as "Eddie" to his loved ones, passed away at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at the age of 61. Born on November 28, 1962, in Birmingham AL, he was the son of Bill and Agnes Frost.
Eddie dedicated his life to the tree care industry, working for Pro Tree Service in Rochester, IN where he tirelessly cared for the trees of Kosciusko County, ensuring their health and beauty for many years. His skilled hands could often be seen expertly cutting down and trimming trees with precision and care. Throughout his 61 years, Charles exemplified traits of hard work and quiet determination that earned him respect and admiration from all who knew him.
In addition to his esteemed career, Eddie had a passion for tinkering with lawn mowers and cars of all kinds. Eddie found joy in simple pleasures and cherished moments spent with his family. He adored his wife, Mary Reed, and found immense happiness in the presence of his children. Eddie’s greatest pride came from the love he shared with his grandchildren. His commitment to both his work and family serves as a testament to the values he held dear throughout his life.
Among those mourning his loss are his surviving family members who will forever hold him in their hearts: wife, Mary Reed; daughter Amber (Joseph Crace) and son Chris Springer; grandchildren, Peyton Taylor, Jaxon Crace, and Gracelynn Frost; brothers, Tommy (Nancy) Frost, David Jenkins, Bobby Jenkins, and Bill Frost; and sister, Shirley Frost. He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Bill Jenkins; and sister, Judy Frost.
Titus Funeral Home and Cremation Services is entrusted with Eddie’s care. The family is grieving privately, and no services are currently planned.
