Charlene Ruth Caron, of Warsaw, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Stillwater Hospice in Fort Wayne at the age of 67. She was born on August 6, 1958, in Rochester, New York, the daughter of Paul and Lillian Griswold (Stear). Charlene’s life was marked by quiet strength, dedication, and a passion for service.

She spent fourteen years as a homeschool teacher, nurturing the minds and spirits of her children with patience and care. Following this, she dedicated two decades to serving as a librarian at the Warsaw Library, fostering a love of reading and learning.
Charlene was deeply connected with her faith and the world around her. She was very involved in her church communities, including Winona Lake Grace Church and previously Christ Covenant Church. Her spiritual life was enriched further through her participation in Community Bible Study and Women of Grace. She generously volunteered her time at many local organizations and was a libero tracker for volleyball at Lakeland.
